Story

In honour of our passion for asian streetfood, we created Tuk Tuck in 2015 with a focus on the then emerging cuisine of Korea but with a modern and accessible approach for people who had never tried Korean food before! This was followed by Dangun in early 2018, and Tuk Tuck Stokes Croft in 2020 with each site following it’s own menu and style. With Pocha this is another opportunity to showcase the finest food from Asia, and is heavily influenced by our visit to Korean in Summer 2023. Whilst we were there we enjoyed the convivial eating and drinking culture and were struck by the combination of the two at all times! The menu is a combination of ‘Anju’ or food designed to be eaten whilst drinking, dishes designed for sharing, and filling main dishes.

Pocha is an abbreviation of 'Pojang-Macha,' tents or moveable stalls selling streetfood and Anju. In Korea you cant go anywhere for a drink without getting food alongside! We'll be taking this inspiration to bring you more of our favourite dishes alongside Soju, Cocktails, Beer and good times!
